Personal Protective Equipment such as hard hats, safety boots, safety glasses, etc.
Tools of the trade
Work attire such as coveralls, tool belts, etc.
On-site or virtual mental health counselling support to reduce barriers to employment
Occupational Therapy Assessment to identify strengths, abilities, and accommodation requirements
Personalized academic upgrading in math
Direct job matching with trades employers
Job coaching
Job retention support
Mentorship from women who work in the skilled trades
Program Eligibility
15 years of age and older
Self-identify as female/woman
Self-identify as a person with a disability (optional)
Not in full time school
Unemployed or working 20 hours or less per week
Must be a resident of Ontario
Open to Refugee Claimants, Permanent Residents, and Canadian Citizens
